The Award Winning Smyrna Legionnaire, the Official Publication of American Legion Post 160, was selected as the Best Newsletter in the State for the 2006-2007 Legion Year by the Georgia American Legion Press Association. The award was presented to Co-Editors Hal Reeves & Keith Hardman at the July 2007 Georgia Department Convention in Dalton. No newsletter can win awards without contributions from the Membership by way of their submission of articles or their participation in the various programs and activities sponsored by the Post.
