New Post Home

After many years, Smyrna Post 160 is well on it's way toward having a new Post Home.  We are working closely with The City of Smyrna, as they move forward with their plans to expand and enhance the Brinkley Park facility. Ceremonial Groundbreaking for our New Post Home occurred on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Site work commenced in November 2007, with construction slated to begin in February 2008 and completion and occupancy currently estimated to occur in Fall 2008.

Architect's Rendition of New Post Home

The new facility has been designed to conform to ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Green Building Rating System™.

Cork-Howard Construction of Marietta has been selected to serve as the Post's General Contractor and Sizemore Group of Atlanta will provide Architectural Services.
